Sensei Edgar Kruyning, a great expert on the European martial arts scene (born in 1969),
was an UCHI-DESHI (“inner” student) of Master Mochizuki Minoru at different periods for fifteen years. Also student of Yoshio Sugino Sensei at Katori Shinto Ryu, as well as other illustrious teachers, including students of Master Mochizuki, such as his son Hiroo and Alain Floquet. He currently holds the following diplomas:

8th Dan Jujutsu, 7th Dan Judo, 6th Dan Aikido, 5th Dan Yoseikan Budo, 5th Dan Iaido, 5th Dan Aikibudo, 6th Dan Kobudo, 3rd Dan Karate-Kobudo, 3rd Dan Karate. He is also the author of several books such as The Art of Jujutsu. He has had his own dojo in the Netherlands since 1991,
